You are all invited to the annual general meeting of the BHSA on Friday the 16th September 2011, wine soft drinks and nibbles will be served from 7.30 p.m. onwards.
The BHSA are looking for parents to volunteer to fill the positons of Chair, Vice Chair and Treasurer.

The BHSA would like to welcome all new parents to Boxhill School and would like to invite you to our AGM being held on 16th September 2011 to meet the parents on the BHSA commitee
This year the school awarded 34 x Bronze awards, 20 x Silver awards and 11 x Gold awards.
Over the summer year 9 student, Will Sanderson, represented Surrey Elite in The Gothia Youth World Cup. This is the largest football tournament in the world, hosted in Gothenburg in Sweden and attended by over 1,500 teams from 70 different countries. Surrey Elite made it to the quarter final, losing to the winning team, Malaysia
.

The Box Hill School Association or BHSA exists to support the whole school community, by providing the ‘extras’ that all schools need.
It offers a support network for parents through its Year Reps, who are a point of contact for any parents with queries and concerns. Year Reps have also organised coffee mornings and other social events for parents in their year.
The BHSA also organises fundraising events, to help develop the school and the Committee meets twice a term to plan these events, and obviously decide on the allocation of the funds.
The BHSA obviously works very closely with the school teachers and staff.
“The BHSA is central to the life of Box Hill and reflects the ethos of the school.
We have great fun with the many social and fundraising activities which helps to create a special atmosphere as well as supporting pupils, parents and staff alike.”
This year we have managed to raise £9,000 so far, with your help we can raise more.
